The Fitzroy Victoria Bowling and Sports Club is part of the sporting precinct in the City of Yarra’s historic Edinburgh Gardens. The club is an amalgamation of the former North Fitzroy/Fitzroy Bowling Club (formed 1877), the Victoria Bowling Club (formed 1876) and the Edinburgh Park Ladies Club (formed in 1947). When circumstances brought these clubs together in 2000 it marked the beginning of a new era in bowls: one of dedication and success both on and off the green.
Our facility is home to two synthetic bowling greens, which are open all year-round for social bowling, pennant competitions, training and major tournaments. Located in a vibrant inner-city location it is easily accessible by public transport and offers great disability access making it a prime club choice for young and old.
