From students looking to form social and industry connections to enhance their university experience, to industry professionals looking to keep up with current industry trends and scout emerging talent, MACC is a welcoming community with a future focus and a fun way to build industry connections. MACC represents many communication disciplines including Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Communication, Media, Screen Production, Creative writing, Professional Writing, Editing and Publishing, Music Industry, Design and Marketing.

Introducing MACC!

RMIT Media and Communication Collective is a student-led organisation representing the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University. MACC’s mission is to provide a supportive and future-focused community for all Media and Communication students that ensures uni is a fun experience and will set students up for their future careers!

MACC is a welcoming and inclusive community. It is multidisciplinary and is the perfect way for staff and students within the school to interact with those from complementary disciplines.

From uni alumni and professionals within the industry will be brought to you via panel sessions, mixer events, job skills workshops and shared content.

Uni life: 

Time at uni is most enjoyable when you get to experience it with like-minded people. Fun events such as scavenger hunts, games and trivia nights, picnics and park hangs, group study sessions and just a collection of people who are there to support you with any questions or needs that you have! MACC is an amazing support to have in your corner.

Celebration:

MACC will be celebrating the end of another year by holding the annual MACC Gala! This event gives students a chance to dress up in their finest and head out for a glamorous evening of food, drinks, dancing, music, and celebrating all of our achievements for the year. Definitely an event not to be missed.
