AUSROC 2.5: An ASRI & RSTA engineering collaboration

AUSROC 2.5: An ASRI & RSTA engineering collaboration

RMIT Space Technology Association (RSTA)

AUSROC 2.5 is a high powered rocket being tested by RSTA

The 7.4m long, liquid fueled, rocket is meant as a test bed for a number of subsystems that will be used on future Australian rocket projects, such as the AUSROC 3 & Nano. More information on the AUSROC program can be found at www.asri.org.au/

Working in collaboration with ASRI, we have been developing the Static Test System. This involves a series of tests that are designed to validate the hardware of the rocket, including the rocket motor, and the fuel tanks.

The Static Test Rig to the right has been designed and built by RSTA members specifically for the Static Test of the AUSROC 2.5 and its components.
