UniSport Nationals 2024

RMIT Redbacks Team

The UniSport Nationals event is the premier tertiary sporting competition held annually. UniSport Nationals provides an opportunity for student athletes to represent the RMIT Redbacks in a multisport event attracting thousands of athletes from across Australia. In 2024, the UniSport Nationals will be held on the Canberra, ACT during Semester 2.

Elite and High Performance Athletes are encouraged to register for UniSport Nationals. Funding up to 100% is available to successful applicants.

How to apply

Get your name on a team list so you don't miss out - there's no commitment required at this stage.
Once you've joined the squad, a Team Manager will contact you with further details regarding team trials or selection.

Elite & High Performance Athletes

Up to 100% subsidies available for High Performance Athletes at UniSport Nationals.

All members of the RMIT Elite Athlete program (REAP) will be considered for funding.
If you are not part of REAP but compete at the highest level within your sport, you may wish to apply for extra funding.

Each application will be assessed independently. 50% and 100% subsidies will be available to successful athletes.




Details

Cost breakdown:

  • RMIT Package – $ Cost TBC
    Includes: 6 x nights’ accommodation, 2 x team dinners, team merchandise
  • UniSport Australia event registration – approx. $220

*Prices subject to change

Additional costs to consider:

  • Sport uniform (for new team members)
  • Transport at the event
     

Important dates:

  • Trials and team selections will take place in April/May.
  • Deposit payment and registration deadline: 2 August 2024
  • Nationals Event is 8-14 Sept, 2024
  • Eligible students must be enrolled at RMIT in 2024
