Kirrip translates to friend in the local Woi Wurrung language group of the Wurundjeri Nation on which RMIT University Melbourne conducts its business. Ask our Volunteers to share knowledge about the Traditional Owners of the lands and significant sites on campus and they can also support you to learn too.
Our Kirrip Volunteers are a friendly community of current RMIT students across different study areas. Through the program you will meet other students through experiences, conversations, and widening your networks beyond your course.
Meeting new people can be weird and kind of awkward sometimes, so RMIT Kirrip is designed to help you ease in. Our leaders span the social spectrum from introvert to extrovert, so whether you are shy and need a hand to find your flock or want to be directed to communities who share your interests or hobbies, there’s something for everyone.
A Kirrip Volunteer:

If this sounds like you then you are in the right place!
