If you are passionate about RMIT, keen to meet new people, get more life experience and more out of your time at university, get involved with RMIT Student Life as a volunteer and be part of the support crew. All volunteer roles with RMIT Student Life have pathways into further training, subsidies for RMIT Student Life programs (including University Games and Sport Clubs) and opportunities for casual employment at the university. 

Roles include:

  • Trips and Tours guides and volunteers
  • Social Sport Activators
  • University Nationals Team Managers
  • Sport Club Team Managers
  • Club Executives
  • Orientation and event volunteers
  • Sport Coaches, sport trainers
  • Film makers and Photographers

Recognition for volunteering


Participation in volunteer programs can be counted towards the Future Edge program. Future Edge is a University wide employability program that gives you recognition for on and off campus co-curricular activities and helps you build key employability skills.
