This program is designed and run by Life Saving Victoria to introduce the beach and its beauty as well as its dangers to International Students. Join the program to meet new friends and learn about Australian water safety. The ticket cost of this event is $10. Transport and lunch including food and drinks will be provided to meet all dietary needs. LSV will provide rash-vests for all participants. Please ensure you bring swimwear or lightweight clothing, hats, water, sunscreen, and a change of dry clothes. Location:  Williamstown Beach

Time:

  • The program runs between 10:00am - 1:00pm. 
  • We are running a free bus from RMIT to Williamstown Beach. The bus will leave Alumni Courtyard (RMIT City Campus) at 9:00am sharp and will return at roughly 2pm.

Free Transport (Bus):

  • Please meet at Alumni Courtyard at RMIT City Campus at 8:50am. 
  • The Free Bus will be leaving at 9:00am sharp.
  • There will be a mobile phone number provided closer to the day in case you have any questions.
  • The bus will leave Williamstown Beach at 1:30pm and should arrive back at RMIT at roughly 2pm. 

Cost:

  • The ticket cost of this event is $10.

  • Hat and sunglasses 
  • Slippers (Thongs)
  • Bottle of water
  • Swimming gear (Anything suitable to wear in the water if you are going swimming)
  • Change of dry clothes

Please note: Rash-vests will be provided for all participants.
