Touch Football
Touch football, also known as touch rugby, is a fast-paced, skillful, and exciting sport. With both social and competitive leagues for both men and women, everyone is welcome!
While a very popular sport in NSW and QLD, Touch Football is still growing in Victoria where there are now extensive summer and winter competitions all over Melbourne.
We have summer competitions in the North side of Melbourne at Princes Park and our winter competition in the South side at Fawkner Park. Depending on our membership, we'll have a number of Mixed, Women's, and Men's teams and we're sure to find a place for you!
Players of all age, skills, and backgrounds are welcomed and encouraged. Before the commencement of winter season, we hold fortnightly training sessions that are updated through our Facebook page based on your availability. These sessions are a great opportunity to get to know our members and get introduced to touch football! We keep these sessions fun and accommodate to the group's needs.
At RMIT Touch football Club, we like to keep things social and we have a great range of events throughout the year. These events include trivia nights, pub crawls, barefoot bowl days, our annual ball, and awards night! RMIT Touch also participates in annual touch football tournaments in Wagga Wagga, Yass and Sale. So if you attend RMIT or simply enjoy touch football, come on down for a game with us. It's a great way to meet new people whilst keeping fit!
