Description

RMIT World Taekwondo is a University based, social orientated Taekwondo club. Our aim is for our members (students or non-students) to improve their fitness, self confidence, strength of mind and body. The training programs focus on Poomsae, Sparring and Taekwondo skills. Each session involves a variety of exercises designed to increase flexibility, improve stamina and enhance coordination.

Our instructor, Choi Minseung, a highly regarded Australian Taekwondo Athlete. He is an experienced coach and an expert in World Taekwondo. He is currently World Taekwondo 5th Dan (Kukkiwon), qualified Poomsae and Kyorugi (Sparring) Coach, qualified Kyorugi (Sparring) and Intercontinental Poomsae Referee.

Training time and location:
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
8 Orr St, Level 2, (RMIT Building 47)

Taekwondo is for everyone. Join us for 2 FREE sessions. Bring loose, exercise clothes, a water bottle, and a small towel.
*Please note, training continue throughout the university holidays, excluding Christmas and New Year's.

Fees:
Fees are designed to benefit everyone, especially RMIT student and Staff. 2021 Membership is available now. Casual passes are also available for purchase. Please click "Join or Renew" and follow the instructions.

Competitions:
Competition tournaments are held throughout the year at various locations from state to national level.
