West Brunswick Amateur Football Club and RMIT have formed an affiliation that will provide a football club for RMIT students.

The West Brunswick Amateur Football Club was formed in 1959 and has always played and resided in the Park St oval precinct of Parkville. The club consists of three teams, a seniors and reserves that currently play in Division 2 of the well respected Victorian Amateur Football League (VAFA), and a thirds side (Club XVIII) playing in the VAFA.

Since its formation, the club has competed in the VAFA and has won seven senior grade premierships and three reserve grade premierships. Three of the senior premierships were won in the last decade, with the club going back to back in 2014 and '15. The reserves also won the 2015 premiership.

The club has a positive and unique culture in that all areas, particularly off field with the committee, fundraising and administration all managed by the current playing group.
