Fashion & Textiles Exhibition

RMIT Art and Design

the edges and in between

Exhibit your work as part of the 2018 Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival Arts Program!

--- Deadline extended to 15 October, 11.59pm ---

The edges and in between, curated by RMIT students and alumni, Anastasia Petidis, Brigid Hansen and Megan McLennan, looks at how contemporary creative practices embraces ideas of the in-between, looking to liminality, webs of connectedness and interdisciplinarity.

Traversing systems of duality as the self/other, object/subject, male/female and place/displacement, the edges and in between will act as a critical tool for examining the contemporary experience.

RMIT students and 2017 graduates are invited to explore the edges and in between within an exhibition at First Site Gallery, 344 Swanston Street, Melbourne in February-March 2018 as part of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival. This is an excellent exhibit your work within the context of internationally renowned festival.
