Explore one of the world’s most stunning coastal drives! Heading out of Melbourne early we pass through Torquay before stopping for morning tea at a nearby location. Follow the twists and turns of the breathtaking Great Ocean Road enjoying spectacular coastal photo opportunities. Stop off to see cuddly koalas in the wild, before travelling to Apollo Bay for lunch.

*This trip is for RMIT Inbound Exchange & Study Abroad program students only! It is a specific part of the RMIT Inbound Exchange & Study Abroad orientation program.
Explore one of the world’s most stunning coastal drives! Heading out of Melbourne early we pass through Torquay before stopping for morning tea at a nearby location. Follow the twists and turns of the breathtaking Great Ocean Road, enjoying spectacular coastal photo opportunities. Stop to see cuddly koalas in the wild before travelling to Apollo Bay for lunch.

After lunch we explore the Otway National Park, walking through an ancient temperate rainforest, admiring some of the world’s tallest trees. Driving through rolling hills, we head towards Port Campbell National Park and the awe-inspiring 12 Apostles. Listen to some of the tragic tales about the shipwreck coast and view remarkable rock formations at Loch Ard Gorge. Check out the large limestone monoliths from sea level at Gibson Steps.

After this breathtaking day, relax as we head back to Melbourne, stopping in the township of Colac for dinner (not included).

Meet: 7:30am Old Melbourne Gaol on Russell Street

Finish: 9:00pm at same location
