Description

Beginning at the Koorie Heritage Trust, the walk takes in the Birrarung Wilam (Common Ground) Aboriginal art installations, which gives a Kulin perspective to the knowledge you will gain during this fascinating journey. As the group meanders along the Birrarung Marr, your friendly Koorie guide and educator will take you through significant sites and landmarks including the site of the Elizabeth Street Creek and the original location of the Birrarung Falls where you will be able to look down to the first wharves constructed at the time of settlement and the long disappeared turning basins for sailing ships.

When: Tuesday 13th February 

Start: 10:00 am 
Finish: 12:00 pm (approximately)  

It is recommended to arrive at the Koorie Heritage Trust 30 minutes early to give you time to take in our latest temporary exhibition, permanent collections and authentic South East Australian Aboriginal art, craft and design.
the tour will commence at 10:30 am
