The RMIT Music Collective is a club where students, staff, alumni and general public get together to play various styles of music and have a good time. In addition to the music we also organise various events. We hold two concerts each year. There is no audition process and everyone is welcome to come along and play! The only prerequisite is that you have your own instrument and can read music, but most importantly is that you love music!

The groups we have on offer are:

  • Concert Band – Tuesday from 5:30pm-7:30pm
  • Stage Band – Wednesday from 5:30pm-7:30pm
  • ROCS Choir– Thursday from 6:30pm (see ROCS homepage)
  • Chamber Orchestra – Friday from 5:30pm-8pm

Rehearsals are generally held in the RMIT Creative Space (Building 8 Level 2)

Membership Fees range from $10 to $15 for RMIT students and $15 to $20 for everyone else.
