RMIT Kendo Club provides students and staff the opportunity to practice the art of Kendo in a safe and structured environment.

Description

The RMIT University Kendo Club is affiliated with the Victorian Kendo Renmei (VKR), the Australian Kendo Renmei (AKR) and Federation of International Kendo (FIK). Club members will thus be eligible to compete at the state, national and world level. In addition to this all grades attained by members will be recognised internationally.

The RMIT University Kendo Club was established in 2015 and aims to provide students and staff of RMIT University as well as members of the general public the opportunity to learn and practice the art of Kendo in a safe and structured environment.

The RMIT University Kendo Club will strive to provide all of its members with an opportunity to achieve their individual goals through intense training sessions.

The next beginners class will begin in week 1 of semester 1 2018.

Monday & Friday
6:00pm - 8:00pm

Beginners: Saturday 2:30pm - 4:30pm

Where
Building 11, Level 2.

Beginners: Building 47

Cost
RMIT Students - $80 per year or part thereof
RMIT Alumni & Staff - $120 per year or part thereof
Students of other Universities - $120 per year or part thereof
General Public - $120 per year or part thereof
Note: All membership fees do not cover the national and state governing body fees.

Competitions and Gradings
Competitions and Gradings are held regularly throughout the year.
